*The Wake Forest Farmers Market will be open in the Renaissance Plaza parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 22, with its regular spring, summer and fall hours, 8 a.m. to noon.

*Monday Night Bingo at The Factory is hosted by the Wake Forest Kiwanis Club in the Mill Room from 7 to 9:30 p.m. All profits support the club’s projects for children. Visit www.wakeforestbingo.com for more information.

*Rockin’ the Forest resumes with Terry Anderson and the OAK team at the Wake Forest Renaissance Center Friday, Oct. 28, beginning at 8 p.m. See information in this weeks issue.

*The Cherubs 2016 Masquerading Angels Ball will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre on Brooks Street to support babies born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. *The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Rolesville Chamber of Commerce to present 2016’s Business Expo at Richland Creek Community Church on Burlington Mills Road on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m. It is open and free to everyone in the Wake Forest-Rolesville area.

*A free Art Exhibition featuring local artists and sponsored by the Wake Forest Guild of Artists and Wake Forest Arts will be held Sunday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre on Brooks Street.

*Bring out that tux and the ball gown and get your tickets for the 2016 Renaissance Centre Broadway Ball for the Arts on Saturday, Nov. l2 in the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre from 6 to 10:15 p.m. Go to www.wakeforestnc.gov/tickets-events/aspx for tickets.

*The 11th annual Gobblers Run will start from the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, and a record number of runners are expected. To find out how to be a sponsor or among the runners or one of the valuable volunteers, go to www.gobblersrun.com. All money raised goes to the Boys & Girls Club, a total of $255,000 so far.

*Start some stamina training now to be able to enjoy all the events on Saturday, Dec. 3. On that day the Wake Forest Farmers Market plans its Holiday Artisans’ Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts, the Wake Forest Historic Preservation Commission will sponsor the Christmas Historic Home Tour, and Downtown Wake Forest Inc. will present the Downtown Wake Forest Holiday Open House.

*Storytelling Pajama Night featuring Rags to Riches Theatre will be held Friday, Dec. 14, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It is part of the Wake Forest Renaissance Center’s Arts for All free community performance series supported by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
