Brief Bits

Wake Forest will be on TV – well, on WRAL-TV at least. Tom LaBarge, the town’s IT director, said last week he is working with the Raleigh station to place two cameras in the downtown area.

“WRAL routinely will show live video feeds from different communities during their broadcasts to include events, current weather conditions, scenery, etc. We are working with WRAL to add Wake Forest to that list of communities. This will be another way to showcase our downtown area. The current plan is to have one installed capturing town hall and centennial plaza and the second up on top of B&W Hardware that showcases both ends of South White and activities along Owen Avenue.”
