Ronald Edgar Lewis, 69, of 8007 Marsh Hollow Drive expired on Thursday, April 20, 2018, at the William Dunlap Center in Raleigh.
He was born on June 20, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edgar Lewis and Mary L. Fennel Lewis.
The funeral service was professionally directed on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Friendship Chapel Baptist Church with burial afterward in the church cemetery.

Rafael A. Cueto Castellon, 45, of 417 Cross Street died on Friday, April 21, 2018, at the William Dunlap Center in Raleigh.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in the Feggins & Feggins Funeral Chapel.
He was born on August 8, 1972, in Nicaragua to Rafael Cueto and Alba Castellon.

Bruce Richard Jackson

Bruce Richard Jackson, 75, of Wake Forest passed away Wednesday morning, April 25, 2018, at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Jackson was born in Passaic, New Jersey to the late Daniel Boone Jackson and Julia Onufer Jackson.
Mr. Jackson served as an aircraft mechanic with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and later retired from Eastern Airlines after 20 years. He was a man of many interest and talents, including building the house that he shared with his family, carving a walking stick or simply sharing his talents with others. His love for his family never took a back seat and he will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o’clock Monday morning, May 7, 2018, at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. A Green Burial service will follow at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens and the family suggests guests wear appropriate shoes.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathryn Fallon Jackson; daughters, Julia Iden and husband, Scott, of Wake nd, Donna Bell husband, Larry, of Rolesville, Samantha Bishop and husband, Robert, of Wake Forest and Paddy Jordan and husband, Scott, of Franklinton; sister, Jane Laub and husband, Arthur, of New Jersey; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Lizabeth Deleon Henriquez, 34, of Raleigh, passed away April 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on September 29, 1983 in the Dominican Republic and was a gifted hairstylist and cosmetologist specialist. Liz was a creative mind and soul. Her nimble hands could turn anything to gold. Not only was she the embodiment of beauty, but she had the ability to spread that beauty to everything she touched. An artist in every way imaginable; A creator to the core. She will be remembered as a loving wife, loving mother, beloved daughter, cherished sister, adored aunt, and loyal friend.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, May 2, 2018, at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Lizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Reggie Henriquez; children, Halie and Lucas Henriquez; parents, Venus and Miguel Pagan of New Jersey; sisters, Haydee Deleon of Cary and Yolaury Aguila of California; brother, Stalyn Deleon of New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews.

Zachery Marten Riggle, 20, of Wake Forest passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. He was born in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, the son of Mark R. and Nancy (Sayre) Riggle. He is preceded in death by his father, Mark R. Riggle; and grandparents, Richard Riggle and Jeanette and Harry Ankrom.
A celebration of Zac’s life and a birthday celebration was held Saturday morning, April 28, 2018, at Crossroads Fellowship on Keith Store Road
Zac graduated from Wake Forest High School; his athletic abilities were showcased as a Wake Forest Cougar. His skateboards were worn out from his constant antics and tricks as a young man. Zac will be remembered for his warm and kind spirit, his great pride, his value in friendship and his work ethic.
Zac worked for Canopy Lawn Care, where he was a professional landscaper who took great pride in his work, his team efforts and promoting deep professionalism to all of the customers he served. He found comfort in writing, having composed a book of his 20 years of living and sharing his thoughts on making memories and cherishing every moment of life. Zac enjoyed dirt bike racing, four- wheeling and fishing, and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a Penguin’s fan. He will be missed by all who knew him and his big heart which touched all that he came in contact with.
Zac leaves behind his “Mum,” Nancy Riggle; his “sissy,” Chelsey Polewski; Papa and Grandma Peaches; the Rev. Giard and Alice Sayre; aunts and uncles, Mike and Jeanie Riggle, Tammy and Dan Dyer, Linda and Bob Miller, Debbie and Richard Clutter, Barby and Doug May, Kathy and David Johnson, Marten and Sheree Sayre, Peggy and Mike Teagarden; cousins, Shayla Riggle and Mickey Riggle, Anthony, Courtney and Kalye Dyer, Patrick and Michael Miller, Matt and Rachelle Clutter, Ericka Dresserback, Soni Fatigate, Jenny, Dan and Becca Johnson, Andy Sayre, Jay and Joey Teagarden; and many extended cousins, and great cousins; and the newest member of our family, Spook (Clyde Thompson), who was just getting to know Zac but loved him very much. He will take great care of mum, Chelsey, Coco and Graham.

Charles Douglas Overton, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday evening, April 23, 2018, at Wake Medical Center. He was born in Wayne County, the son of the late Eula Raynor Overton and Charlie Lloyd Overton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Imogene Overton; a brother, Kenneth Overton; and sisters, Edna Stiffler, Christine Bland, Annette Gregory, Wilma Goodwin, Jean Bedford and Arlene Smith. Charlie was the baby of the family.
A funeral service honoring his life was held Friday afternoon, April 27, 2018, at Faith Baptist Church in Knightdale. Burial followed at Raleigh Memorial Park.
Mr. Overton is survived by his daughters, Suzanne Field and her husband, Randy, of Youngsville and Donna Allen and her husband, Dennis, of Wendell; sons, Herbie Bryant and his wife, Tina, of Zebulon and Jeffery Overton of Rock Hill, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Lewis H. Calhoun

Lewis H. Calhoun, 92, of Wake Forest, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was born in Douglas, Georgia to the late John and Lavinia Calhoun. Lew is preceded in death by brothers, Leon and Roy, and sisters, Amy, Marie and Shirley.
Lew faithfully served in the U.S. Army, 42nd “Rainbow” Infantry Division, during World War II. He dedicated himself to a lifetime of service in the U.S. Army, and upon retirement from active duty as a warrant officer, he went on to serve an additional 30 years as fulltime U.S. Army Reserve, Chief Warrant Officer (CW4). Lew had extensive military education and also attended University of Maryland.
Lew was loved and admired by everyone who knew him. He was a man of honor and integrity. His courage in life storms stands as a testimony to his Christian faith. His compassionate spirit and willingness to help others was a beacon to those in need of love, encouragement and help. He loved his family, especially the children, and was always eager to join in family activities and events! Lew was a generous supporter of WWII Veterans Memorial, The Republican Party, Boys Town, Wounded Warriors and the VFW. He enjoyed participating in an active card club, traveling, studying history, his daily crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. He will be greatly missed!
Lew is survived by his wife, Joan Calhoun; son, Lewis Calhoun Jr.; step-children, Joseph Martin, Joan Learned, John Martin and Dawn McGowan; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Emily G. Roth; nephews, Eddie Gatton of Florida, Bob Beard and wife, Cyndy, Bill Beard and Pat Beard; and niece, Linda Becker of Maryland.
A funeral service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. The date will be assigned by Arlington and posted here for your planning purposes. The family welcomes all to attend.
