Bowl-a-Thon for Autism Thursday

The second annual Bowl-a-Thon for Autism will be held Thursday, May 18 at Brooks Street Bowl in Wake Forest beginning at 5:30 p.m. It is hosted by the T&T Creative Group.

The purpose and commitment of this event is to raise financial support for the Autism class at Rolesville High School. Through the generosity of donors and bowling participants, the 2016 Bowl-a-Thon for Autism raised $750. In addition, two iPads were awarded to the Rolesville High School autism class. The financial goal of the second event is to double the donation as T&T plans to match the funds raised.

All proceeds for the Bowl-a-Thon are donated to the autism class at Rolesville High School which gives the class members to take Life Skills field trips throughout the school year and the iPads engage the students in class assignments and a variety of activities. This year’s donation will contribute to the growing need to fund essential classroom technology, Life Skills field trips and supplies for the 2017-18 academic school year.
