The EG Peters Band describes itself as the most versatile in the Triangle area, and their playlist lives up to it – jazz, dance, party tunes, rock, Motown, beach, novelty, R&B, country and the hits from every decade beginning with the fabulous ‘50s. You can appreciate their wide range Sunday when they are the headline group for Six Sundays in Spring in the amphitheater at E. Carroll Joyner Park on Harris Road.
Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and a blanket to spread under the trees. There will also be a variety of food and dessert trucks. Remember alcoholic beverages and gas and charcoal grills are not allowed, but there are two large charcoal grills at the park. Unleashed pets are also banned.
