Vivian Ann Wiggs, 75, died Saturday, April 22, 2017. Vivian was born on July 16, 1941 in Durham to the late George and Maybelle Haney Hall. She worked as a sales clerk for Belk Department Store, enjoyed watching birds, working on puzzles, painting and woodworking.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Charles Wiggs; two sons, Steve Fowler and wife, Kellie, of Raleigh and Larry Fowler of Lillington; a daughter, Ronda Burnette and husband, Lynn, of Wake Forest; and grandchildren, Brandy Lawson and husband, Jerry, of Clayton, Travis Fowler of Lillington, Austin Burnette of Wake Forest, Matthew Fowler of Cary, Wesley Fowler of Raleigh, and Mikayla Fowler of Raleigh.

Linda Dezern Kessler

Linda Dezern Kessler, 64, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on Thursday April 20, 2017. She was born in Durham County, the daughter of the late Norma Ray Dezern and James Robert Dezern. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Terry.
Linda was employed as a RN nurse manager at WakeMed and worked in the NICU. She also worked at Rex Hospital in the NICU and the new baby nursery, all this over 30 years.
The joy in Linda’s life was her family and her babies.
There will be a private memorial service held for the family at Bright Funeral Home.
Linda is survived by her husband, Tommy J. Kessler; children, Chad Layton (Hannah Dansie), Amber Jezierski (Adrian) and Melanie Thomas; sister, Helen Overaker (Larry); sister-in-law, Tracey Kessler; and grandchildren, Aidan Jezierski, Andrew Jezierski and Riley Thomas.

Franklin G. Barham

Franklin G. Barham, 84, passed away Thursday morning, April 20, 2017, at Transitions Life Care Hospice. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Lettie Barham and William C. Barham. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Wall Barham, and a daughter, Frankie Barham Rogers.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, April 23, 2017, at the Beulah Christian Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Barham is survived by his wife Judy Barham; grandchildren, Corrie O’Neil, Robert Hopkins Jr. and Lauren Maynard; stepchildren, Gene McGhee, Donna Maynard and Robert McGhee; and three great-grandchildren.

Lula Gray Stell

Lula Gray Stell, 80, died at home Thursday, April 13, 2017. Lula was born December 20, 1936 to the late Selma and Foster Stroud. She worked for many years at Aerotron in Raleigh and as a waitress at Angus Barn and Plantation Square, both in Raleigh.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Ronnie L. Stell of Raleigh; four daughters, Brenda Mabrey and husband, Tim, of Louisburg, Linda Girton and husband, Doug, of Louisburg, Martha Endel of Rockingham, Marie Capps and husband, Lynn, of Raleigh; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

John Robert Collins
Youngsville
John Robert Collins, 56, died Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was born November 11, 1960 in Alamance County to Robert Lee Collins and Agnes Frances Moore Collins.
John was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked as the environmental and security custodian at Flat Rock Baptist Church. He was a member of the Franklinton American Legion Post #52.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1529 Flat Rock Church Rd, Louisburg. Rev. Gary McNair will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
John was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Collins.
Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Christina Lynn Collins of Youngsville; two sons, William and Chris Collins of Youngsville; mother, Frances Collins of Mebane; sister, Carolyn Fuqua of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church Building Fund.
