The final Wake Forest Farmers Market with winter hours will be this Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to noon – and the next market day will be April 5 with longer hours, 8 a.m. to noon, and almost certainly more vendors and more on offer.
This Saturday there will be a lot of meat and eggs, maybe something green. You will also find locally roasted coffee, all manner of baked goods from sweet to crunchy, handmade jewelry, handmade stools, tables and tools, local honey and cheese.
The market is open every Saturday in the OneCare Inc. parking lot behind CVS. For more about the market, go to Facebook or www.wakeforestfarmersmarket.org or call 919-671-9269.
