The Wake Forest Rotary Club will host an oyster roast with all you can eat oysters, popcorn shrimp, catfish and chicken on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 525 South White Street, the old Holding cotton warehouse and field now owned by Bob and Elizabeth Johnson.
WRAL-TV’s Elizabeth Gardner will be the emcee. There will be a cash bar for beer and wine. Tickets are $30. For tickets and other information, contact Jim Robertson.
