The Wake Forest Inspections Department issued permits for 31 single-family homes during October.
Also, the department issued a permit to Mark Dixon/Qualified Builders Inc. to construct a new commercial building for O’Reilly Auto Parts at 2011 South Main Street between the new Wendy’s and the Valvoline station. The fees were $18,483, the building will have 7,200 square feet, and the improvement value was $812,433.
Tropical Pickin Chicken, which has been roosting next to the state DMV license agency on South Main, will have a new home at 109 Capcom Avenue. Traffic will be easier here because Capcom has an outlet via Grandmark Avenue to Rogers Road and a signalized intersection. There were also fitups approved at Walmart at 2114 South Main Street and Sportclips at 1040 Forestville Road, Suite 100.
