*The Wake Forest Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Renaissance Plaza in front of the Renaissance Centre. Food, music, farm-fresh produce and pasture-raised meats plus crafts, flowers, baked goods, coffee and honey.

*Member of the Wake Forest Lions Club will be in front of the Wal-Mart on South Main Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, to help you contribute to Thanksgiving dinners for local needy families. *The 2025 Renaissance Centre Broadway Ball will provide an evening of music, dancing and food while at the same time raising money for the centre’s youth scholarship program. *The Wake Forest Community Christmas Dinner will be held Monday, Dec. 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Forks Cafeteria. The $15 tickets are available at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce, the Wake Forest Weekly and the Wake Forest Historical Museum.
