The Kerr Family YMCA received a $1,500 donation for their annual #WeBuildPeople campaign in appreciation for providing the free shuttle for Meet in the Street. Sam’s Club has been the corporate sponsor of the shuttle for five years. Each year, a portion of their sponsorship fee is donated back to the Kerr Family YMCA for this campaign.

Connect with Wake Forest’s top influencers, explore your leadership skills and discover diverse avenues to make a difference in your community by participating in the 2019-2020 Leadership Wake Forest Program.
Participants meet once a month from September through May for interactive sessions, panel discussions and forums. On-site tours and hands-on activities are a component of the program which is then capped off with a group community project. The result? Well-rounded, informed leaders.

The Wake Forest Chamber Foundation’s Career Readiness Academy needs multiple facilitators and speakers to lead sessions and provide career readiness training to local high school students. The program runs from September through March 2020.

The Wake Forest Chamber’s Community Raffle is back for its second year! Presented by Edward Jones, the raffle will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern North Carolina, the Wake Forest Chamber and other community civic groups and nonprofits.
Tickets are $50 each and only 1,500 tickets will be sold. A total of $15,000 in prizes will be awarded. The top prize is $10,000 cash. Other prizes include: $3,000 cash, a $1,000 lottery ticket basket, a $500 lottery ticket basket and $500 cash.
