The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre at 405 South Brooks Street will host an encore Caregiver Workshop entitled “Identifying the Enemy” Wednesday, June 5, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Caregivers can get so caught up in the details of caregiving that they become overwhelmed with stress, guilt and worry. The June 5 presentation examines these feelings and discusses ways to respond appropriately to them, while attempting to chart a healthier and gentler dementia journey for both patient and caregiver.
Due to limited seating, pre-registration is required for each event. To pre-register and view the entire 2019 Dementia Awareness Education schedule, visit www.wakeforestrencen.org/education/dementia-awareness-education<http://www.wakeforestrencen.org/education/dementia-awareness-education>.
The June 5 workshop is part of the 2019 Dementia Awareness Education Series. The Renaissance Centre is presenting the series of seminars and workshops in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern North Carolina and Wake Forest SING as part of an ongoing effort to establish Wake Forest as a dementia-friendly community
