You are invited to join the Wake Forest Lions Club for its first annual Spaghetti Dinner at the American Legion Hall, 225 East Holding Avenue, on Saturday, May 18, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for youth 12 and under. Tickets can be pre-purchased by calling 919-803-7627 or you can buy them at the door.
All proceeds from this event are dedicated to help with the purchase of a PlusOptix Eye Screening camera. This device, at a cost of $6,000, will be used by the Lions Club to screen children for eyesight problems that, if identified early on, can prevent a lifetime of problems.
