The used coat and jacket drive sponsored by the Wake Forest Youth in Government Advisory Board will continue through May 17.
The clean, gently used coats and jackets and of all sizes and shapes can be dropped off at any of the following area locations:
- Dance Dynamics Studio, 123 Capcom Avenue, Wake Forest
- Heritage Elementary School, 3500 Rogers Road, Wake Forest
- Heritage Middle School, 3400 Rogers Road, Wake Forest
- Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road, Wake Forest
- Millbrook High School, 2201 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh
- Rolesville Middle School, 4700 Burlington Mills Road, Rolesville
- Rolesville High School, 1099 East Young Street, Rolesville
- Wake Forest Elementary School, 136 West Sycamore Avenue, Wake Forest
- Wake Forest High School, 420 Stadium Drive, Wake Forest
- Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 South Brooks Street, Wake Forest
The Youth Advisory Board’s coat drive is an easy way for area residents to pass along coats and jackets they no longer need. All donated coats will be given to the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club for distribution to local people in need.
The Youth in Government Advisory Board was established to provide Wake Forest’s youth with an active role in addressing community issues and to serve as a voice for young people in all facets of the community. The board researches issues and makes presentations to the Board of Commissioners and sponsors informational events for area youth.
