Special Needs Resource Fair Saturday

The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department and Richland Creek Community Church will sponsor a free Special Needs Resource Fair this Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Richland Creek Community Church, 3229 Burlington Mills Road.

The event will include over 30 professional vendors that specialize in providing to children and adults with special needs an array of services including therapeutic, health and wellness, educational, recreational, music, financial and legal.

Local businesses and non-profits scheduled to participate include Allied Rehab, East Point Prosthetics & Orthotics (formerly Ability P&O), 180 Medical, Parents for Educational Freedom of NC, White Hawk Advocacy, LLC, Cary Estate Planning, Capitol Financial Solutions, Alliance Behavioral Healthcare, The ARC of the Triangle, Triangle Down Syndrome Network, Made 4 Me, NCFASD Informed, Inc., Richland Creek Community Church, Hesed Retreat of NC, Northern Wake Young Life Capernaum, A.E. Finley YMCA (Camp GRACE), City of Raleigh Specialized Recreation and Inclusion Services,

The Miracle League of the Triangle, Town of Wake Forest, Wake Forest Renaissance Center, and POP: Piece of the Puzzle.

Designed to offer local families the opportunity to learn about dozens of programs, services, products and resources – all in one location – the fair will also feature interactive opportunities with the Wake Forest Police and Fire Departments.
