The Wake Forest Inspections Department permitted 93 new homes in February, 56 single-family houses and 37 townhouses.
There were also seven new businesses permitted by fit-ups or pre-occupancy. The fit-ups were for NuSpine Chiropractic at 3612 Rogers Branch Road, Suite 105; Capitol City Homes at 1628 South Main Street; Stretch Lab at 12646 Capital Boulevard, Suite 124; Fortnight Brewing at 1894 South Franklin Street, Suite 100; and Wake Forest Quilt Lizzy LLC at 1225 South Main Street, Suite 104. The pre-occupancy inspections were for Cline Contracting LLC at 5203 Unicon Drive, Suite H and Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. at 1788 Heritage Center Drive, Suite 101.
The townhouses will be built as follows:
— Two townhouses will be built by Garman Homes in the Live Oaks subdivision off Wall Road;
— 16 townhouses will be built by Lennar Carolinas along Gimari Drive in the Devon Square subdivision on Capital Boulevard;
— 14 townhouses will be built by McKee Homes along Gateway Crossing Lane in the Gateway shopping center on NC 98 Bypass and Heritage Lake Road;
— And five townhouses will be built by Lennar Carolinas along Cormiche Lane in the Devon Square subdivision on Capital Boulevard.
The builders of the 37 townhouses together paid $141,663.75 in fees and the homes will add $5,850,100 to the town’s tax base.
