The Wake Forest Inspections Department issued permits for 64 new homes in March, 53 single-family houses and 11 townhouses.
The department also issued a building permit for Culvers restaurant on Rogers Road. The inspectors signed off on six fit-ups during March. They were for the Wake Forest Fire Department’s Station #1 on Elm Avenue; I Love Juice at Suite 148, 1040 Forestville Road; a sales or office space at 2513 Burlington Mills Road; Blue Ribbon Grooming at 706 North Main Street; Stewart Engineers at 12316 Hampton Way Drive, Suite 201; and retail space at Heritage Village shopping center, 1040 Forestville Road.
The 11 townhouses are comprised of four built by Terramor Homes on Piazza Way in the Traditions subdivision and seven built by Dan Ryan Builders on Prince Noah Loop in the Stonegate at St. Andrews subdivision. The two builders paid fees totaling $61,983.65 and the improvement value is estimated at just over $1 million.
