*The Wake Forest Farmers Market has moved to the town employees’ parking lot on Taylor Street behind town hall. The market will be open this Saturday, Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to noon. This will be the last market with hours from 8 a.m. to noon. In November the market will be open winter hours, 10 a.m. to noon. Local farmers and artisans will have meats, seasonal vegetables, bread, baked good and other local wares for sale. See the market’s Facebook page for information about the vendors and sign up for a weekly notice about the offerings that Saturday. Obituaries

Anna Elisabetha Albinus Wake Forest Anna Elisabetha Albinus, 82, died Thursday, October 18, 2018, at her home. She was born May 14, 1936 in Germany to the late Adam and Sophia Hotz Albrecht. Anna was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Albinus in 2007; a brother, Helmut Albrecht; and a son-in-law, William Alberts. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2018, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest. Burial  followed in Wake Forest Cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Annamarie Alberts of Dallas, Texas and Irene Kress and husband, Robert, of Raleigh; five grandsons, Nicholas and Andrew Alberts, Bryan, Connor and Matthew Kress; and a sister, Ellen Albrecht of Germany.
