*The Wake Forest Farmers Market has moved to the town employees’ parking lot on Taylor Street behind town hall. The market will be open this Saturday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to noon, and local farmers and artisans will have meats, seasonal vegetables, bread, baked good and other local wares for sale. See the market’s Facebook page for information about the vendors and sign up for a weekly notice about the offerings that Saturday. *Monday Night Bingo at The Factory is hosted by the Wake Forest Kiwanis Club in the Mill Room from 7 to 9:30 p.m. every Monday night. William Lee Bunn Raleigh On Saturday, May 12, 2018, William (Bill) Bunn went home to dwell eternally with his Savior Jesus Christ. He was born in Franklin County to the late George Oliver Bunn and Eunice Sykes Bunn. His life had a profound impact on the lives of all those he touched. He loved his family and friends, but most of all, he loved his Lord whom he faithfully served. From a humble upbringing on the family farm, Booty (as he was known to his family and intimate friends) served his country with honor and went on to serve his clients at the Bradsher and Bunn insurance agency with integrity. He sacrificially gave of himself and his heart to Shelby, his wife of 60 years. He adored his children and grandchildren, and admittedly found his greatest joy in spending time with them.
