Linda Jean Sebastian Fuquay-Varina Linda Jean Sebastian, 76, of Fuquay-Varina died on Monday, May 1, 2017, from complications due to multiple sclerosis. Linda was an elementary school teacher, enriching the lives of students in Mineola, New York and Baldwin, New York for over 30 years. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University and received her master’s in special education from Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York. Linda was always the life of the party with a big smile, a courageous spirit, and deeply loved her family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, E. Phillip; two sons, Michael P. (Jennifer) and Stephen A. (Jacqueline); three grandchildren, whom she adored, Sullivan Andrew, Elizabeth Suzanne, and Hunter P. Linda is also survived by her seven brothers and sisters, Joanne Miner, Kay Williams, Janet Lemmons, Anita Miner, Nancy Woolsey, John Miner and Philip Miner.
