Michael Joseph Twiss Wake Forest Michael Joseph Twiss, 56, of Wake Forest passed away at WakeMed on March 20,2017 due to injuries sustained while playing ice hockey. Michael was born November 14, 1960 in Malone, New York Michael loved playing hockey especially with his three sons, Ryan, Tyler, and Kyle. Known as a fierce competitor and a hell of a teammate, Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and will be greatly missed. A private service will be held by the family. Michael is survived by his wife, Debra Ann “Debbie” Odom Twiss; sons, Ryan Walter Twiss of Arlington, Virginia, Tyler Lynn Twiss of Wake Forest and Kyle Joseph Twiss of Wake Forest; mother, Lane O’Donnell Twiss of Malone; and brothers, Matthew Twiss of Las Vegas, Nevada, Patrick Twiss of South Riding, Virginia, and Kevin Twiss and wife, Marsha, of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
