Youth theater classes beginning

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts is partnering with the Raleigh Little Theatre to offer a variety of youth theater arts classes beginning in March. Designed to excite and develop artistic vision and creative talent, these courses will spark children’s imaginations and inspire a lifelong connection to theater. Each class will be taught by an accomplished theater instructor in a safe, nurturing environment that encourages exploration of process and self-expression. Class offerings cover a range of theater arts training, and class sizes are limited to allow for attention to individual interests and skill development. As part of its Youth Education Program, Raleigh Little Theater (RLT) will offer sessions from March 12 – May 7 of the following youth classes: Creative Drama: Mixing Bowl Tales; Play On: Prop Bag Theatre; and Acting Out: Characters on Location. Beverly Renee Martin Wake Forest Beverly Renee Martin left this life surrounded by her family and friends on February 26, 2016. She battled breast cancer like a warrior, but her Heavenly Father called her home. Bev was born in Oxnard, California, on October 20, 1962. She graduated from Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1980 and attended Ventura College in Ventura, California. She had been a resident of Raleigh since 2006. Bev leaves behind many people who love her very much: her husband, Kelly; daughters, Kayla Madison (Eric) of McKinney, Texas, Clarissa and Kenna Martin of Raleigh; mother, Joyce deWet of Raleigh; father, Loren Blair and stepmother, Tina Blair, of Wake Forest; grandson, Carson Madson and granddaughter, Hadley Madson, both of McKinney, Texas; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Theresa Blair, and grandparents, Art and Susanna Blair
