Obituaries

  Marie Hines Wake Forest Marie Hines, 72, of Wake Forest died Saturday evening, August 15, 2015, at Duke Regional Specialty Hospital in Durham. She was born in Johnston County, the daughter of the late Alice Wilkins Hines and Frank Hines. She was a CNA and was retired from the Carolina House in Wake Forest. Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Evans. Funeral services were held at 6:30 Wednesday evening, August 19, 2015, at New Life Church, 6900 Zebulon Road, Wake Forest. Burial followed in the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Evans of Raleigh, Kay Evans of Wake Forest and Sandra Bryant (Frank) of Rolesville; a son, Rickey Evans of Youngsville; sisters, Nancy Holt of Kenly and Esmond Elliott of Benson; a brother, Donnie Hines of Cabot, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
