Alexander ‘Alex’ MacPherson Wake Forest Alexander “Alex” MacPherson, 85, of Wake Forest passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. He was born 1n Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late John and Elizabeth MacPherson. Mr. MacPherson was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a retired intelligence officer with the CIA. A service celebrating his life will be held 11 o’clock Thursday morning, August 6, 2015, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. Mr. MacPherson is survived by his wife, Sheila MacPherson; children, Jennifer Abidari and husband, Mehrdad, of Palo Alto, California, Karen Keen and husband, Nathan, of Broad Run, Virginia, and Fiona MacPherson and husband, Hank, of Wake Forest; brothers, Ian MacPherson of Seattle, Washington, and Derek MacPherson of Perth, Scotland; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
